Many thought it was a death sentence for Magic. Today, Magic Johnson's HIV virus is at an undetectable level (he is still HIV+) and he is a picture of good health.

Now in its 21st year, The Balm In Gilead has provided capacity development and technical support to over 20,000 faith institutions regarding the implementation of HIV education and health service programs including BGOC. As the Beautiful Gate Outreach Center celebrates 10 years of HIV services to the community, our mission, our vision and our passion to provide HIV prevention information as well as HIV supportive services to those infected with and affected by HIV has not been deterred despite funding cuts and continued stigma and discrimination. We are committed as an organization, and as individuals to provide quality, non-judgmental free services to the citizens of Delaware.
